I haven't really shared with everyone that I am a Communications major at Cabrini College. We have a weekly News Show called LOQation which we give updates about local news, news around the world/nation, sports, and entertainment. Currently, I am the entertainment anchor and its awesome! I love it because I believe it fits well with my personality. So I want to share with you our recent episode of LOQation because when we were all ready to film yesterday, we came to find out the teleprompter was broken! But that didn't stop us...we decided we would all find a way to make the show happen. So we just grabbed a laptop and put it under the cameras each time it was someone's turn to read their segment... Talk about teamwork right?! I know our crew can bump heads from time to time but when it comes down to it, we still manage to be the perfect team! And when you're truly passionate about something, you will always find a way to succeed :)
This past Sunday was a complete Sunday-Funday! I went into NYC to see the Radio CityChristmas Spectacularwith my mom, aunt, and family friends! It was absolutely WONDERFUL, I loved everything about it. Maybe because I love everything about Christmas and New York :) haha. It was a wonderful gift to start celebrating the holidays! Here are some pictures to share my experience...
There is so much to do in so little time! The fall semester is almost over and I feel like it just started not too long ago. I can't believe how quickly time flies by!!
Well, I thought I'd share some exciting news with everyone... yesterday I received an e-mail asking to be the President of the Advertising Club on campus. I got really excited because I thought it's such a great opportunity to have this leadership role especially when it has to do with my major! Slowly, things are falling together and I'm getting where I want to be.. Of course I still am working on getting an internship but I'm doing things little by little. "SHOOT FOR THE STARS" is what I always say :) But it's true, right?! I can't wait to share what fun things get planned to advertise and the cool events the club will get to attend.
This past weekend I decided to visit my cousins in New York. The bonding was long overdue, since we had not seen each other since July/August! I love my cousins will all my heart, they truly are a big part of my life. During my visit, we had "girls" night and caught up on our lives. The advice we can give one another is phenomenal. We always make sure we push each other to be the best that we can be. I know there are times we bump heads but they are truly like the sisters I never had. My best support system is my family! I know that no matter what I can always count on them. I would do anything for my family, they're the best! I wanted to share this with everyone because like I said, family is so important, especially to me.
